Inside your mouth sucking the sun [2004]
Inside your mouth sucking the sun is an opera project by composer Niels Rønsholdt and artist Signe Klejs (digital set design and staging).
The collaboration combines two formal ways of thinking: a linear (the music) and the non-linear (the digital and interactive).
The project takes its starting point in the letter exchange between Napoleon Bonaparte and his beloved Josephine. The letters form a picture off the physical distance and the mental presence.
Inside your mouth sucking the sun was shown at EntreScenen, Aarhus, PLEX Kbh, Grusomhetens Theater, Oslo, Tau Scene, Stavanger and the National Theater, Bergen.
